Our story begins in Brooklyn, New York during WWII when we became specialists in sourcing parts to various industries, including the U.S. military. Over the next few decades our intimate knowledge of the industry helped us grow to be one of the country’s largest military dealers. Today, we focus all of our resources on supporting the high demand for military spares in our 20,000 square foot headquarters in Farmingdale, Long Island.

Being recognized by the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA) as a Captain of Industry means channeling our strengths:

Pioneer was founded in Brooklyn, New York during WWII. The company became specialists in sourcing parts for aftermarket application to various industries, such as the U.S. military. Due to the company’s success and ability to satisfy customer demand, Pioneer became recognized as a trusted partner to satisfy the customer’s needs.

1970's - 1980's

During the 1970’s, Pioneer’s military sales continued to grow and by the early 1980’s we became one of the largest dealer to the military in the country.


In the 1990’s, Pioneer made the business decision to dedicate all of our resources to supporting military spares demand. Pioneer acquired additional property in Brooklyn to support the operations growth. As the business continued to grow, more space was needed.


In 2002, Pioneer purchased a new, 20,000 square foot, headquarters in Farmingdale, Long Island, the “Cradle of Aviation”. Even though the facility was originally designed for an aerospace supplier, Pioneer made a tremendous investment to completely upgrade the building before moving the operation. In the new facility, Pioneer has been able to focus more effort on building out the Preferred Vendor ProgramSM by expanding the Company’s capabilities to suit the needs of the PVP members.  


In 2010, Pioneer’s Preferred Vendor ProgramSM reached 100 PVP Members.

2020 & Beyond

In 2020, Pioneer launched a new, proprietary ERP system. This industry leading edge technology elevates Pioneer’s internal operations, customer experience, and simplifies interactions for the vendor base.
