Pioneer offers an LE Individual Officer Program

EXETER, NH – Pioneer’s presence to supply firearms and firearm parts continues to grow. SIG Sauer has decided to focus on Law Enforcement, Federal, and Military Departments and exit individual officer support. Based on the strengthening relationship and SIG’s confidence in Pioneer’s ability to supply their parts to the military, Pioneer has been selected to support the Individual Law Enforcement Officer.

Pioneer has developed a simplified transaction procedure to respond to Individual Officers from around the globe. Pioneer has already begun supporting numerous County Police Departments, active duty military in Afghanistan, IRS agents, retired officers, NRA licensed instructors, and many more.

Pioneer has since been in contact with other firearm vendors to leverage this new customer base outreach in an effort to grow and better support their business needs, as well.

Taking Flight with the FAA

The FAA has already placed several orders with Pioneer and expects more to follow. Now Introducing to Pioneer’s Business Development Group

FARMINGDALE, NY – Pioneer Industries, Inc is pleased to announce the latest additions to Pioneer’s Business Development Group. Howard Fox was recently hired as the National Sales Manager. Some of Howard’s focus will be on expanding Pioneer’s Preferred Vendor ProgramSM by identifying new value streams and synergy opportunities for PVP manufacturing participants.

Howard has extensive experience in sales and manufacturing over the past 40 years with companies such as, Siemens AG and Elco Corp. He has a practical understanding of manufacturing by working with plant managers and upper management to streamline production lines, product development, and recognizing new business ventures.

Howard joins Pioneer after owning and operating several successful businesses. As a principal owner and operator of a sales consulting company, he established and developed multimillion dollar sales territories as well as participated on the formulation and implementation of national strategies. Howard received a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Engineering from City College of New York.

Melissa Feuer was also recently hired as the Marketing Coordinator and Director of Social Media. Melissa has more than ten years of experience in managing campaigns and marketing communications using physical and virtual mediums. Melissa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Dowling College.

Tara Mannino has recently been promoted to Pioneer’s Director of Business Development. Tara has spent the last several years at Pioneer honing her skills by performing Research and Development, both inside and outside sales, and vendor management.Tara earned her Bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College with a concentration in World Cultures.

Helping Heroes Home

NORWELL, MA – As a constant supporter, Pioneer Industries, Inc. is happy to celebrate a milestone for Cell Phones for Soldiers. Cell Phones for Soldiers launched a new program this past summer, “Helping Heroes Home”. This new program is designed to provide emergency funds for returning veterans to lessen challenges of unforeseen expenses. The program will initially serve veterans in the Northeast with a national expansion expected in the future. Pioneer and the PVP Continue to Exceed Expectations

FARMINGDALE, NY – Pioneer Industries, Inc’s Preferred Vendor Program (PVP) continues to experience significant growth. More than 25 manufacturers expressed their confidence in Pioneer by joining the program and authorizing Pioneer as their military dealer in 2012. In total, Pioneer is helping more than 100 manufactures by providing a customized solution to handle their sales and distribution to the Armed Forces. Additionally, Pioneer is providing inventory management, forecasting data, and ad-hoc reporting to these manufacturers to improve their business.

Pioneer’s PVP growth has been a contributing factor to continued success and growth of Pioneer’s business. Pioneer Industries, Inc. reported calendar year 2012 was the most successful year in the company’s history. Sales revenue exceeded projections with more than a 10% growth over the previous year.

Super Storm Sandy Status

FARMINGDALE, NY – Long Island and particularly the south shore has been hit hard by super storm Sandy. Nearly 1,000,000 people are without power and the damage is significant. Most of Pioneer’s employees are without power at their homes, but are otherwise doing well. The Pioneer facility is currently considered fully operational with internet service and electricity powered by a 60 KW natural gas generator.

In the wake of the devastation, Pioneer continues to support the Department of Defense and has opened Its doors to the entire staff, their families, the community, and industry to offer assistance.

Best of the Best for Our Vets

HAUPPAUGE, NY – Pioneer joined U.S. Congressman, Steve Israel, and about two dozen companies including, Northrop Grumman and Telephonics Corp., in the VetsBuild Business Advisory Council. The meeting was held on June 25, 2012 in Hauppauge, N.Y..

This new Business Advisory Council has teamed up with the United Way Long Island and The United Veterans Beacon House to create VetsBuild to use best practices and identify policy changes to address the overwhelming high unemployment rate of post 9/11 veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. VetsBuild will also assist veterans by offering counseling and guidance, as well as, training to hone their skills to gain employment.

The VetsBuild Business Advisory Council will continue to meet at Congressman Israel’s office on a quarterly basis.

The Military has Confidence in Pioneer’s Operation

COLUMBUS, OHIO – Pioneer Industries, Inc was recently honored by DLA Land and Maritime as one of the government’s best suppliers. The award ceremony was held on June 13, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom, in Columbus, Ohio. This recognition was for a nearly perfect performance to the military’s stringent quality and delivery requirements to supply product. In the past calendar year, Pioneer has supplied just about 5,000 lines totaling almost 500,000 piece parts.

This recognition means the military has continually issued orders to Pioneer with the confidence in the product operation and an on time delivery.

ISAC with U.S. Congressman King

AMITYVILLE, NY – Pioneer’s Facility Security Officer and members of the management team attended the Industrial Security Awareness Conference (ISAC) hosted by U.S. Congressman Peter King. Congressman King is Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee and member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Pioneer participated in discussions regarding accomplishments and on-going terrorist threats. The information and ideas shared with the Congressman and other Defense Industry leaders were done so in an unclassified forum.
