Washington, D.C. – On April 18th 2017, David Yormack, an owner of Pioneer Industries, Inc. participated in a Defense Industry Round Table hosted by US Congressman Thomas Suozzi. Mr. Yormack was active in initiating these meetings with congressman Suozzi. Other leading Long Islands defense contractors included BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman and Telephonics.

Washington, D.C. – On March 21st 2017, While attending the ACIBC Call to Action members of Pioneer Industries, Inc. Business Development team met various government officials on the Hill, including small individual breakouts with Senator Kirsten Gillebrand, Senator Chuck Schumer, Congressman Thomas Suozzi, and Congressman Peter King.

Chicago, IL – On March 12th 2017, Pioneer Industries, Inc. received a multi-year firm fixed contract to supply military runway lighting kits. Pioneer will assemble the kits at the company’s 20,000 square foot facility prior to shipping to the appropriate military facilities.

FORT BELVOIR, VA – Pioneer Industries, Inc. participated in the “Captains of Industry” event at DLA headquarters on February 12, 2014.

Twelve (12) premier suppliers attended this event, hosted by DLA Director, Vice Admiral Mark Harnitchek. David Yormack, a Principal at Pioneer, was in good company with the “Captains” of firms, such as Colfax, Eaton, Electric Boat, Meggitt, Raytheon, Rockwell Collins and Vacco.

This round table created an open forum between the government and industry leaders to learn about DLA’s challenges and recommend operational efficiencies.

David Yormack said “It was an honor to be invited and represent our PVP Members. This is an excellent opportunity to use our elite position to guide the DLA to design better procurement and logistics policies.”

Follow up meetings are expected to occur several times throughout the year.

Farmingdale, NY – On January 1st, The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives(BATFE) has completed an assessment and Federal Firearms License has been renewed. This accreditation allows Pioneer Industries, Inc. to continue to support the warfighter with long and short barrel guns.

Chantilly, VA – On December 26th, one of Pioneer’s PVP members came to us with an urgent demand for 5 ruggedized servers. Through our efforts, we were able to acquire 5 ruggedized servers for the Navy. Pioneer also improved the delivery by 20 weeks. This specific order was in excess of $100,000.

Farmingdale, NY – On December 1st, Pioneer officially complete the design and development phase for quoting and purchasing. Pioneer’s next focus is working on the reporting and shipping areas. Development is scheduled to be complete in the first quarter of 2017. Pioneer is looking at a 2nd quarter launch.

New Orleans, LA – On November 29th, Pioneer attended one of the largest gatherings of vessels on the Gulf Coast. Two dozen of Pioneer’s PVP members were in attendance. Pioneer met with many vendors as well as multiple prospects. This was a great venue for new vendors to interact with existing.

Washington, D.C. – On October 3rd 2016, Members of Pioneer Industries, Inc. business development team were in Washington D.C. for 3 days meeting with the leadership of many PVP members as well as future prospects.
