WASHINGTON, D.C – Representatives on behalf of Charles Schumer, U.S. Senator for New York, visited Pioneer Industries Inc. Discussions included Pioneer’s role in supporting the local Department of Homeland Protection office and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Other topics included how Pioneer has been able to increase market share and their overall presence as a leading military dealer throughout the state, in places like manufacturing facilities in Binghamton and Lancaster.
The Senator’s office identified some areas for synergy with other defense contractors statewide and is planning a New York symposium bringing Pioneer and the appropriate parties together.

Pioneer has continued to hire staff and invest back in the local community even through the most recent economic downturn. Based on Pioneer’s success and continued growth, the Congressman plans to leverage Pioneer’s expertise and niche to development a Long Island Defense round table discussion.
FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK – Pioneer Industries Inc reported record breaking sales. Sales bookings in September 2010 were the largest monthly sales in the company’s 65 year history. The increase in sales is credited, in part, to the success of the Preferred Vendor Program, the Department of Defense ABVS vendor performance score of 98%, (which includes the 100% Quality Performance) and focus on customer and supplier relationships.
RICHMOND, VA – The Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) quality performance score for Pioneer is now a perfect 100%. This is based on more than 6000 line item shipments spanning the past 24 months.
