Pioneer Attends Industry Leading DLA Land & Maritime Round Table

By News

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Pioneer was pleased to accept a personal invitation to attend the 2021 Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Industry Round Table Conference. The event was held at the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio, August 24th , 2021.

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. Kristen Fabry and members of her leadership team hosted the top 50 trusted business partners at the Defense Supply Center Columbus for the 2021 DLA Land and Maritime Industry Roundtable.

The discussion focused on how industry alliances enable military support organizations to improve warfighter readiness. Areas of discussion also included current environment, changes in DLA and overall military procurement methodologies demand, threats, opportunities, and forecasting.

“It is always an honor to be considered a top supplier to the DLA and it was humbling to be ranked #4 overall in performance. I enjoyed the interaction and contribution that will come from spending the day with industry colleagues and DLA leadership. The meeting was productive. It validated the hard work our Pioneer Team performs each and every day to streamline the sales and operations for our Principal OEM suppliers. Based on some of DLA’s changes in buying practices, we will continue to develop new features to help bridge the gap between our industry partners and the military supply chain to provide continuity at a fair and reasonable price to the warfighter.”
